Joe, You are right, this is just a sample of the great images we have seen this year from our members. These are most of the ones that were sent to me for our website. I wasn’t sure how this many images would work in one post but I think it turned out OK. If I get more I will add them to this post.

This is really a great idea and it shows how many great images were taken, and this is only a part of the clubs’ work. I hope at the dinner a lot of the members attend and bring images, it should be wonderful.

I too want to thank Mike Hensley for setting everything up for us and showing us how to paint with light. Thanks to Joe, Liz, and her friend (sorry I forgot your name!) for doing most of the light demos for us. This was alot of fun and something different to try. Your mind now looks at light sources differently….all of your kids toys with lights..hmmm many possiblities. Can’t wait to add some water into the mix! Everyone should give this a try you will be amazed when you release the shutter button as to what you have!

Thanks Mike. It’s good to hear there are no ‘real’ rules. I’d probably forget them anyway since I’m in the part-timers catagory these days; part of the time I’ll remember and part of the time I won’t! As to what song I was listening to, I can’t rightly recall ~ See what I mean? LOL

I visited your website and fell in love with your smoke image! I’m going to have to put some effort into learning how to do that! My camera and I just love new adventures. Photography is just so exciting!

There is a quote Mark Twain made that I’ve engraved in my mind and heart that speaks volumes to me:

“You can’t depend on your eyes if your imagination is out of focus!”

I couldn’t have said it any better!
